Arlene Coates – Master Colorist

Arlene has over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry. She started taking cosmetology in high school and has continued her education ever since: Toni & Guy, Wella, Aveda, Vidal Sassoon and currently L’Oréal.  She has worked with artists, photographers, musicians and models in NYC.  Keeping up with current trends, she enjoys working her clients to create what works best with their personality and lifestyle.

Haidy Ibrahim – Nail and Brow Technician

Haidy loves what she does and enjoys working at Avalon. She has over eleven years of experience in providing manicures, pedicures, and hair removal services to her great clients.

Jessica Bolanos – Junior Stylist

Jessica is a passionate and dedicated stylist with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to personalized service. She strives to create stunning looks that reflect each clients unique style. She is trained in the latest techniques and trends and looks forward to meeting new clients!

Gianna Geroldi – Junior Stylist

Gianna has been with Avalon salon for over 4 years and has been working as a stylist since 2017. She loves styling and cutting hair, specifically styling beach waves. She has done multiple weddings and hair events throughout the years and loves helping her clients feel gorgeous!

Margarita Guallpa – Nail Technician and Junior Stylist

Margarita started her cosmetology journey when she was 18 and has been working at Avalon since 2013. She has extensive knowledge on hair and nail procedures and specializes in blowouts. Rita is always excited to meet new clients and works hard to make sure all their beauty needs are met.

Kathleen Demsey – Senior Stylist

Kathleen has been working at Avalon for over 10 years and has a passion for crafting beautiful hairstyles and enhancing her clients natural beauty. Whether you are looking for a fresh new cut, a bold color transformation or just some advice on how to maintain healthy locks, she’s got you!

Lily Mo – Nail Technician and Assistant

Lily has been a stylist for about 7 years, she currently specializes in nails, and  also assists our stylists in the hopes of one day becoming a hair stylist herself. She does everything with love and enjoys exceeding her clients’ expectations.

Tassia Mota – Master Stylist

Tassia has over 10 years of experience in the beauty industry. She is certified in keratin and has taken multiple haircutting and color classes. Tassia specializes in curly hair blow-dries.

Claudia Ovalle – Master Stylist

Claudia received her cosmetology license when she was 18 years old and fell in love with every aspect of the beauty industry and continued to expand her knowledge, taking additional education in everything from men’s barbering to hair coloring. She started her journey with Avalon in July 2014 and looks forward to continue bringing out the beauty in all her clients.

Janice Valle – Master Stylist

Janice’s heart and passion has always revolved around the beauty industry. She has been a hairstylist for over 24 years. She has a deep love for people, and she especially loves making them look and feel beautiful! She specializes in hair extensions, corrective coloring, different methods of highlighting, cutting and men’s barbering.
